How to Enter Your Items in Our Online Tagging System

All items must be entered in the system by Tuesday, September 12th at 11:59 p.m. The system will close at that time and changes can’t be made to tags. You may still PRINT your tags after the system closes up until the time of your drop-off appointment.

  • LOGIN to your Consignor Account
  • Click on “Work with Consigned Inventory” (You may enter your items all at once or over a period of several days)
  • Click on “Work with My Consigned Items”
  • Select Category, Select Size
  • Enter a Description: Make descriptions as complete as possible. Please list BRAND on top line. A better description allows us to attempt to locate your items in our inventory should the tag get lost. We want to credit you… a better description gives us a better chance of doing so!
  • Enter a Price
  • Check the “Discount” box if you’d like your item marked at 50% on final day of sale
  • If your items do not sell and you would like to donate it, click “Donate” box
  • Once you’re finished, click “Submit Items” and “I’m finished for now”

How to Print Your Tags from Your Account

    • LOGIN to your Consignor Account
    • Click on “Work with Consigned Inventory” on bottom left
    • Click on “Work with My Consigned Items”
    • Select “Print Tags” (If you have already printed some tags, choose “Print Select Tags”)
    • It’s best to check the “generate as PDF” when printing
    • Use White Cardstock
    • Make sure tags are not smudged or splotchy so they may be read by the scanner
    • Attach tags to your items per our instructions below
    • Tags will look like this once printed

Select a 15 minute drop off appointment in the system.  It is MANDATORY that you bring clothing sorted into gender and size.

IMPORTANT:  If you have more than 400 items, you will need to email us at indysouth@whale-sale.com to schedule a drop off time. Please put “Drop Off Appt” in the subject line of your email.

You may select to “Drop & Go” and bypass the screening process. If you “Drop & Go”, you must bring items Wednesday, September 13th from 3:00-8:00 pm or on Thursday, September 14th from 9:00-11:30 am. All items must be marked “donate” in order to use “Drop & Go”. We will screen your items without you present. All acceptable items will be placed in the sale and others will go into our donate boxes. Be sure to sign-up your drop off time as a “Drop & Go” in your consignor account.

Your Pre-Sale pass will be picked up at your drop-off appointment.

Unsold items, not being donated, must be picked up Saturday, September 16th between 5:15-6:15 pm. Last names A-L should come for pick-up between 5:15-5:45 pm. Last names M-Z should come for pick-up between 5:45-6:15 pm. Any items left after 6:15 pm on September 16th will be donated.

We have wonderful charity partners that benefit immensely from your donations. You may even select certain things to donate if you don’t want to donate everything. Mittens, hats, gloves, shoes and such are great items that our charity partners desperately need for people in our own community!
